Welcome
to PPP, Rosemary!
This is an incredibly moving poem! The disaster of Sept 11th was so huge, it was hard to take it all in. But, by focusing on the
life of one person, and the grief that followed her death, you are able to convey
the tragic events of that day in very human terms!
Excellent, moving writing!
Hope to see more of your work!

still crying........
This touched me so deeply! Written with compassion and
sadness.
I think the only thing about this I did not like, is where you said the
"sickness of their religion" as if you meant ALL of Muslim faith,
shared these twisted views of that faith? When in fact, the true Muslim
community does NOT embrace,nor
endorse this heinous acts of death and terrorism.
I don't feel you truly meant these words, in this way,for your poem was so full of love and compassion for
those who lost their lives, surely you could not have thoughts like this within
your loving heart.
Thanks for sharing this poem.

emotional read!!
Welcome to FM...
God help me.
God help us all.
Truth, pain, suffering and
strength. May we remember all
that we've lost that day.
Not just the
but the world.
There are no words for a poem like this.
Only silence in remembrance.
This was beautiful and so truly
heartbreaking.

Rosemary,
You have personalized the tragedy amazingly. The
perspective helped me to imagion just a little more
what loosing a loved one on 9/11 must have been like, though I obviously can
never really know. So many hopes and dreams snuffed
out...This is one of so many stories.
Stay inspired,
~
wow you've just portryed
alot throught his whole
piece. i really have no wrods. but 9/11 will never be
forgotten. It may have wounded us and it may have killed many but we live
again. In the event that this horrible day might be reinacted
again(GOD forbid) we will be reborn but stronger and
we can only pray for those who try to hurt us again. Lord knows what we can do
with our new strengths and our newbound unity. Only
that day can reveal what can occur. For now we pray ad thank GOD for the many
lives that were saved.
Rosemary,
Very well done. You captured the real tragedy in all of this craziness. How
sad.

What a great and haunting piece of work. You did a great job of allowing
us to see and feel one of the thousands of personal tragedies and pain that the
families, wives,and husbands
went through losing their loved ones during this horrible sick senseless crime
against humanity. An excellent piece of work. I'm
anxious to see the rest of your work and what you'll come up with next.
What a wonderful poem! I imagined myself there.
This is great! My heart was really touched by this poem. Is
this a true story?

Great job.
very chilling work...definately

wow...this is wonderful, it almost made
me cry. one thing that i
must say, and i will say harshly because, well you'll
get it. their religion is not sick. they
have different beliefs than me/(asumming)you. this group, a fraction of the muslim
world, wants a jihad. they are not evil. they have different values and goal than us. they shouldn't impose those values on us. hundreds
of thousands of peaceful muslims live here, in the

with the pain, thank you for posting. Coleen

Welcome Rosemary! You chose
the right day for this post. Thanks for sharing it. Indeed a moving piece. As I
was reading, I thought it might work just as well as prose rather than poetry,
depending on the line breaks and its presentation. Either way, it was a good
read today. Based on a true story?
This is my first time posting but I couldn't pass up this
opportunity to say what a - I'm speechless - this poem sent shivers up and down
and me. I have had many tears about the terrorism attack and this poem gave me
a new perspective on it. To cherish what you have and never take things for
granted because you never know when they could just disappear.
This is a wonderful speechless poem.
Well written ... all I can
say.
Ken
I just read your poem.
Is this a true story? Was this someone you knew?
Sometimes there are no words to be given and that is when
you can only say
that if there were the words, I
would give them to you...right now.
