Holly Berries Glistening

Holly berries gleam in the rain
Shining with a holiday glow,
That makes my heart sing
Although, a chill in the air, pervades the atmosphere.

A break in the steel gray clouds,
A beam of blue light illuminates the sky,
Like a ray of hope
Wishing peace and well being to all.

Before the encroaching
Darkness of storm,
Light and hope appear,
To foretell a magnificent day.
