Skies of Christmas

Blue and white sky in the morn,
gives way to bright blue skies in the midday,
cold and clear the bright skylight
promised warmth will soon be here.

Warmth and holiday cheer
will be here
soon upon the land
great rejoicing heard.

All is fair this late autumn day
in the afternoon
the sun is shining and all is right
in the world this day.

Peace and well being abound
even though the news is bad.
Politics interfere with all that’s good
joy abounds to all that scorn the news.
For peace and harmony is the time of year.
