Indian Summer at Christmas

Indian summer is here.
Amidst the holiday season
holly berries blooming
and Christmas carols booming.

Singing songs of good cheer
on this warm winter day
people calling greeting to friends and strangers
on this beautiful Indian summer day.

Late in time, but great in mind,
the reminders of Christmas time.
Bring hope for the coming new year.
