Lemon Dawn

Light lemon is the cove of light
appearing on the far horizon
at sunrise
surrounded by lavender clouds.

Gradually, the sky fades to
azure ~ replacing lavender
as the sky lightens in the
early light.

Heralding a quiet time of peace
when only birds are about enjoying the sunrise
and sharing it with the denizens of the night.
When both are at rest and in harmony.
